On June first I will be leading a team from Evangel Assembly of God in Milwaukee for a one week missions trip to Uganda.
Evangel Assembly has been a strong partner of GTMI and the Ugandan church since my last trip in 2024. When I discovered that the churches of the Busia district lacked Bibles in their home language, Lusamia-Lugwe, Evangel matched the amount that GTMI gave to purchase Bibles. Since then, Evangel has taken on Bibles for Uganda as one of their missions projects. To date, we have distributed over 200 Bibles to churches, pastors, schools, students, the Musafu prison, and others in need. In addition, Evangel raised money to purchase two generators for the Faith in Christ church in Hadoda village. One of these generators will be purchased during the upcoming mission trip.
In June, we will be presenting a children’s program to 461 students in two Christian schools in Musafu and Busia. I will be teaching a leadership conference during the afternoons and, in the evening, we will be hosting an outreach at Faith in Christ church. On Sunday, we will again minister at the Musafu prison.
